I want to say something about stress and m/c, though. I'm with the others...it's bunk and there's a study to prove almost anything nowadays.
My best friend was pretty newly pregnant when her husband of almost 3 years revealed to her that he had cheated (SLEPT WITH ANOTHER GIRL, another girl in HIS EX'S FAMILY. The ex that he HAS A DAUGHTER WITH nonetheless) on her a while back. She moved out. Came to live with us. They eventually got back together. But dude, I mean, her OB gave her stress meds and everything. And their son just turned one. So stress equalling m/c, even EXTREME stress for LONG PERIODS of time, imo, is crap.
I don't think stress can cause a miscarriage. Look at all the women who had babies after 9/11? Many lost spouses, and if that kind of stress didn't cause them to miscarry, certainly everyday worries will not do it.
I think stress (and this is purely a non-medical opinion) is more important for fertility and implantation.
Our son was born in the fall of 2008 after four miscarriages. Currently trying for numero dos. Homozygous MTHFR (A1298C). Treated with folate and vitamin B6 and B12 supplementation. Diagnosed with Idiopathic Recurrent Pregnancy Loss in August 2007. IUI in January 2008 with clomid. Started on heparin January 18, 2008, switched to Lovenox April 10th. Oh, I'm also Rh-negative.
