It's been one week since the IUI. And I'm bleeding. Ever so slightly. And crampy. Ever so slightly. I've heard of the mysterious "implantation bleeding" but thought it was the result of tall tales and wishful thinking. Or at the very least, in all of those four times I've held a positive pregnancy test in my hands, I never had implantation bleeding or any bleeding for that matter, beforehand. I am, however, on the heparin, so who knows? I read that cramping should not accompany implantation bleeding. So, this may not be looking good.
Curses. What now?
One more week.

Our son was born in the fall of 2008 after four miscarriages. Currently trying for numero dos. Homozygous MTHFR (A1298C). Treated with folate and vitamin B6 and B12 supplementation. Diagnosed with Idiopathic Recurrent Pregnancy Loss in August 2007. IUI in January 2008 with clomid. Started on heparin January 18, 2008, switched to Lovenox April 10th. Oh, I'm also Rh-negative.

I hope it's implantation. I've had implantation bleeding with all my pregnancies (except maybe the first, wasn't trying to get pregnant so wasn't checking!)
It does exist, honest. It never lasted for me. One wipe type bleeding!!!
The Heparin might make a difference?
No idea - but I'll keep thinking good positive thoughts for you. The beta is next Friday?

weird, eh? i don't knwo what to make of it. i did have cramps when i got p_____. and 40% of women spot in early pregnancy. i mean, maybe not...and it would worry me. but it could very well be a good sign. and man oh man do i hope so.
I had implantation bleeding with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy.
I had a ton of bleeding when I was six weeks along. And it turned out fine. Hope the same for you.
I didn't have any bleeding but I had PLENTY of cramping. Maybe it's a good sign??
Not to give false hope, BUT with my doomed pregnancy I had nothing, but with the pregnancy which resulted in our son, I had spotting and cramping.
So you never know.

I did not have any cramping/bleeing with pregnancy #1 (the blighted ovum) but I did with #2 and #3.
"Implantion bleeding" sounded like a myth to me too, but I do not usually spot before my period, so I thought something was up.
I had horrible cramping, too. The trick is that it really is just spotting. My OB told me that if it was more than a few pantyliners worth, it may be a cyst.
Good luck good luck good luck! My first time I had cramping and IB. It does happen. I will be crossing everything and will pop back for updates :)

I have low progesterone so I'm prone to 10DPO spotting...but most people do say it's a very positive sign....
I didn't have bleeding until well after implantation, but I did have cramping, so I don't know what that site is talking about.
