- After four miscarriages, I welcomed home my baby boy in the fall of 2008.
Our son was born in the fall of 2008 after four miscarriages. Currently trying for numero dos. Homozygous MTHFR (A1298C). Treated with folate and vitamin B6 and B12 supplementation. Diagnosed with Idiopathic Recurrent Pregnancy Loss in August 2007. IUI in January 2008 with clomid. Started on heparin January 18, 2008, switched to Lovenox April 10th. Oh, I'm also Rh-negative.

- Green light to start trying again - 11/30/2007
- Seriously thinking about adoption - November 2007

- First Consult with new RE - October 2007
- Diagnosed with MTHFR - January 2007

Yay!!
Ethan's heartrate at 9w1d was 170 on the spot, too. At 7w it was only 152. 170 is fine, I promise.
Looking good!! You KNOW, thre's only like 1/2% chance of miscarriage at this point according to my RE? Good news, right?! I had to remind myself of that day in and day OUT when I was where you are!! :)

yawhoooooo! 170 is GREAT!!! why the fret? mine was 168 and i was over the moon. not one time have i ever heard of a too-high hb. what gives? it may have had something to do with mama-nervousness.

Just reading the word, "mama" actually brought tears to my eyes. What a concept.
I worry. That's what I do . . . but glad to hear maybe it's not so unusual.

170 is wonderful! Wow!!!! I'm so excited for you.
170 is perfectly normal. At about nine weeks, the baby's heartrate is about the highest it gets, it gradually declines after that.

170 is a great heartrate. I can't remember what my twins were at during that time, but I seem to remember it being about that.
Great news! How wonderful. Missy's FHB at 9-1/2 wks was a whopping 198 and so far so good. 170 sounds right on to me. Congrats.
